Hi, I just recently started my tank. and like most people was stuck using tap water in the beginning. I know the tank has to go through the cycling process. I recently purchased a portable 50gpd RO/DI system and have done about a 30 gallon water change so far. My question is should I rinse my rock off to get rid of the algae/diatoms, also how many water changes will it take to get the bad tap water out. ( tap water had a TDS reading of 107-115).
