So I've had my Royal Gramma sucked up now TWICE in the overflow in the past 3 days. I'm absolutely speechless. Its happened before, but I've never had it happen to the same fish twice, let alone happen this close together.
I have a standard Acrylic overflow box. I've heard you can use Fishing Line and kind of loop it over and under the grates to make an invisible fence per say. I worry about them then getting the fishing wire stuck in their gills and getting pulled by the current and doing more damage.
The tank is built in the wall. I have used 1 x 6 and built a "Wall" straight up sitting on top of the entire top of the tank to prevent the firefish from carpet surfing.
I'm really concerned that the poor fellow will do it again. I've only got 2 Green Chromis, one Firefish, and the Royal Gramma in a 100 Gallon.
Not sure what else to do......
