Pod question regarding detritus

I have a 20g all in one tank, that has been up for about 3 years. A few fish and some softies and lps. Seeing detritus in the cracks between lr on the sand bed. My flow is not getting it all out, so was thinking of getting some pods as I understand they will eat the detritus? True?



And a follow up question, some concern my tank could get over run with pods. I do have a 6 line wrasse and a cleaner shrimp. Will they eventually deplete the pods (hopefully By the time the pods eat my detritus)?
