Can anyone tell me what's going on with this YWG? I just noticed today that he has these dark redish/brown spots above his mouth on both sides. I'm not sure if this is some type of infection, or battle scars or normal? I've had him for almost a year and has been healthy, I've never noticed this on my YWG's that I've had in the past, so not sure whats going on?
There have been some tank changes recently - I've started removing some sand (not a lot yet, but did cause it to get stirred up a couple times), I just introduced a new LED fixture on Friday that I'm currently running on the lowest setting to get them used to the change in lights, and I also removed the three clowns I had in my work tank because the female was getting too aggressive, so I took them home and put them in my big tank and took the two smaller clowns I had in my big tank and brought them to work, but there does not seem to be any aggression in the tank now that I made that change... so I don't think he got in a fight or anything... the only other thing I could think was maybe a rock shifted and squished him and gave him bruises, but it's on both sides, and he doesn't appear to act like he's injured, so thinking maybe a bacterial infection???
