I have noticed more and more build up in my filter hoses. The hose from the tank top the filter has red and orange speckled build up very heavily in it. The return is not as bad but still has a pail yellowish build up. Should I clean these and if so was is the best way go do so. I did have a red slime out break 2 plus weeks ago that I treated with chemiclean. I had a wrap and clown fish die the day after I did the treatment. But things been good since but the hoses been like this since not long after startup. It is a 2 month old tank. Over the last two days my rock and sand has been go grow red brown fuzz. Please help!
