Retrofit Maxspect razor nano

Has anyone tried to mount a maxspect razor nano into a biocube 29 hood? If so how did you do it? Also would like to know if anyone has mounted this light with the supplied mounting bracket, I tried to mount it on my tank but the center hinge doesn't allow the bracket to fit all the way down on the rim and leans considerably toward the front also doesn't seem very secure. i would like to avoid hanging the light if possible.
