bio pellet reactor

So next step is hooking up a Bio Pellet reactor. I have a fuge chamber in my sump now with miracle mud and some chaeto is all. Was going to place the reactor in skimmer chamber. Simply running it with separate pump and dialed in flow and discharge back into same chamber,nothing fancy.
Any suggestions/opinions on this?
Also will this have any negative effects towards my refuge or uv sterilizer?
