Looking for a hang on protein skimmer for 100 gallon tank I plan on setting up within the next couple months. I'm interested in the Reef Octopus Classic 2000. I have never used a skimmer in the past since I only had a 20 gallon tank. Is this a good protein skimmer? What are other ones you recommend?
On Google I came across a post of someone who had a 150 gallon reef tank and used 2 skimmers with no sump. I will not have a sump so do you think I should go with 2 protein skimmers? For now, my tank will be fish only in the future I plan on turning it into a reef tank and possibly adding a sump.
