I have always ran a 200W heater in my 75 gal - but now that winter is setting in I'm finding I needed another 200W to keep up the temp.
I purchased a 200W Aqueon Submersible Heater and it knocks sometimes. I've read that several people have this problem online and everyone said "better safe than sorry" BUT if so many people are having this knocking noise - I'm wondering if it's okay? Just turning on or something?
And it's definitely a knock, not a pop and no movement or cracking at all.
Has anyone had a heater for awhile that knocks and was fine?
