Deciding to leave the nano world. Just purchased a 75 gallon reef ready corner overflow tank with stand and custom 20g acrylic sump,amiracle skimmer, 50 lb of various liverock. All for 200 bucks. Excited about the available funds now for other things (possibly 2 vortech mp10s, let me know if 40s are better in your opinion) and some t5 replacement money will go a long way.
Tank needs to be resealed as i found a couple of spots where silicon was starting to peel. Not taking any chances.
Figuring id use a 1/2" margin to let silicon bond, taping down the tank tomorrow and will begin the scraping process.
Liverock is in a rubbermaid bin with a maxijet 1200 powerhead. Previous owner had it cooking for about a month but water seemed a very slight tint of rust color when i picked it up so will cure for another 4-8weeks. In the mean time i will be purging nutrients from my 20 gallon BB liverock and will use the ~10lb to seed the 50lb curing.
