Fuzzy dwarf lion volitans lion

I have a 72g bow front also have a 40g breader. In the 72 I have a fuzzy dwarf lion fish have had him there for about 5-6 months. He did kill another fuzzy dwarf lion fish, but is ok with the other fish ( flame hawk, 2 clown, snow flake eel, dog face puffer, lawnmower Gobi ). I just bought volitans lion fish he is one inch long and in the 40 gallon tank. I want to move him to the 72 but not till he is the same size or bigger then the fuzzy dwarf lion fish. The two being different species will they just ignore each other and if I did put them in with each other early would the fuzzy take out volition just to take care of a future problem?
