can you identify this live rock growth?

I have a couple things on new live rock I bought.I don't know if it is good or needs to be removed. My tank is a week old and I'm very new to saltwater. The main one I'm concerned about looks like someone put a glop of Vaseline on the rock . Its round and gelatinous, clearish but you can't see thru it. Thanks ☺☺
