has anyone fixed a leak like this b4?

i have a 120 das and it just started spewing water out of the corner about 14 inches up... after my first initial shock had worn off i just syphoned out the water to just below the leak... took off the corner piece that covered the seam and scraped the old epoxy off6 inches above and below the crack... i set up my overflow backwards to keep my refugium plants alive and proceeded to fill the crack with epoxy (aq safe epoxy) starting on the crack. then let dry for 24-48 hours. i repeated this 3 times then proceeded to shmear on more the entire length of the seam... then put the corner peace back on... every time i put epoxy on i would add a bucket of freshly made salt water.. i have now been running with a full tank for a month with no negative effects on my tank... seems to be working fine and the only thing that happened is i lost a decorator crab, cleaner shrimp and a emerald... no fish tho..

i would like to think i was pretty mcgiver ish with this but idk..
