So I got a yellow tang last Friday, and he has been more than a welcomed addition to my tank. He and the Lawnomwer Blenny have totally eradicated my tank of Green Hair Algae, which is wonderful! However, now he's uninterested in the food that I have for him.
My damsel seems to readily feed on it, but the Yellow Tang isn't interested at all in the food. Currently I'm feeding Formula Two Flakes by Ocean Nutrition. Has a yellow tang right on the package, lol(yes I know that's not indicative of anything), but I bought this particular food when I only had two damsels in my tank(now have 1). Anyway, the damsels seemed to feed on it pretty readily.
My Yellow Tang is kind of shy, he seems to run and hide everything I approach the tank, meanwhile my blue damsel doesn't care if I'm around or not, and realizes what I'm doing when I'm approaching the tank. Any idea's on possible new food choices for this guy?
