I got a few soft corals from a local guy for low money. I posted about them when I got them as they were shipped cold. Everything seems fine now but there is one rock with Palythoas that is different.
I remember when I first posted someone thought that I had Zoas and Palys on the same rock. After watching it for a while I find that they are all the same but sometimes some of the polyps are elongated and open. They are starting to get some green color now (very light and visible with the blue light on). But sometimes they are closed and have a bright green or orange color. Is this normal for them? It seems most of the polyps will change from one state to another so I don't think there are different corals on the rock. It's the coral in the back on this picture.
