Need help understanding the lighting I've got

For those of you who may not know me, I got a heck of a deal on a 90 gallon set up that came with a bunch of stuff I don't know much about. I discovered the tank ended up having a crack on one of the side panels though, so I'm not going to use that. For the price I paid, I could care less. I still made out like a bandit. Anyway, I need help understanding the lights that came with it, and I need help on how to use it.

Currently I have a 55 gallon tank nearing the end of cycling. There's a protein skimmer running, heater (of course), and 2 wave makers that I now have on alternating running cycles. There is 60 lbs of live sand in the tank and one small live rock. At the moment I'm slowly adding about 40 to 50 lbs. dead rock I have to the small living rock I bought.

I have T5 lights, T3 light hood, and then new unused blue light bulb and reef 50/50 light bulb still in the box. I have no idea what any of these things are. 10 years ago I only had a FOWLR tank and things have changed a LOT since I was last in the hobby. This time around we want to have a reef tank. I do plan to upgrade to a larger tank in time, but for now the 55 gallon works to start.

I want to use these lights on the 55 gallon but I have no idea what they are or how to use them. I just put the T3 hood light on my tank. Looks a lot prettier than what I previously had on it. :D What are T5 lights (it has 2 cords??) and what is the T3 light I just put on my tank? How do I use them and how do I set them up? I also have a time controlled power bar. I'm assuming the boxed up blue light and reef light bulbs are extras for the units.

Thanks for the help you can give me! :D
