ICH and water temo

So there has been about a trillion posts on ICH. I've read that raising your temp will accelerate the ICH cycle.



Is there any evidence that lowering your temp might slow down the cycle, so the fish have more time to use their immune system?



I can easily lower my temp range to 71-73 since I'm in Ohio and the house is cooling off with the Fall weather.
