I'm in a pickle right now on adding the tangs to the tank now rather than later. Okay, let me explain, so two of my lfs have the tangs im after, one has a powder brown and the other a purple. The purple has been at LFS A for a few months now, he is big, beautiful like there are so signs of stress at all as hes being kept in the coral tank by himself but hes a big boy from the Red Sea with an even bigger price tag, $300 but this fish is truly beautiful and has amazing colouring. Ok so now LFS B that i went to today just got a powder brown in, he looked amazing too, nice colouring, large and fins were in good condition. My problem is i was planning on adding these two guys last to the tank as out of the rest of the fish list the purple would be the most aggressive but the reason im debating this is because LFS A said he wouldn't be able to get another purple tang in that condition & size for quite a long time, even he was unsure when and now LFS B has the powder brown who is the same size and i'm not sure ill get an oppertunity like this again. WHAT DO I DO :help:
Right now there is just coral in the 180G tank, i haven't moved any of my fish in yet so guys, thoughts? advice? should i nab theses two whilst the opportunity is available or risk it and wait (wont be till some time next year) to add them last?
List is:
(from my tank) - Marine Betta, Cinnamon Clown Pair
Magnificent Foxface
Aussie Harlequin Tusk
3 Black & White Chromis'
Powder Brown & Purple Tang
Thanks!
