Hello! I'm new to the forum, but thought I should join, seeing as I have been using your expertise incognito for awhile now. ;)
I'm from Michigan and I'm not new to aquarium keeping - freshwater or saltwater. I've kept successful tanks of all sizes for quite some time now. I started with tiger barbs then went to cichlids, to breeding and selling cichlids to moving on to saltwater. I've kept a successful 29 gallon and 90 gallon saltwater tank. Obviously I fell in love with the hobby. :) The sad thing is that I had to give up my saltwater hobby for 10 years, up until just a week ago.
I'm back to the saltwater hobby again and so very happy to be back! While I loved having the 90 gallon, it was just too big for me. I'm what my daughter calls "fun-sized", aka "short" LOL! So I decided on a 55 gallon and I love the size. So much more manageable for me. :) It's now in the cycling process, though I have been reading up and planning for the past year. Yes, I'm that patient! LOL! Good things come to those that wait. ;)
I hope to get back in the swing of things (I'm rusty after 10 years out of the salt hobby) and gain some saltwater buddies again! This forum seems like a very nice place and I hope to regain the knowledge I lost with all of your help. :wavey:
