Fish tank Goes Crazy

So this morning right before I had to leave for work I went down to my fish tank to just check on it. It was incredibly cloudy and the sump was filled with big bubbles (along with the protein skimmer). I was only able to find one fish in the tank which is not abnormal for me in the mornings. They seem to all hide.



I unplugged the skimmer and was trying to find anything that may have died or what could be causing it. I wasnt able to find anything.



I wasnt able to run water tests because I had to leave for work . I dont have any backup water made yet but soon as my wife gets home she is going to turn on the RODI so i can do a water change tonight hopefully.





Can anyone think what could have caused this? I didnt fish a little bug out of my sump. I doubt he could have caused it but I have no idea. I do water changes routinely and my water parameters are always good.





Any suggestions would be great



BTW i didnt do anything to it last night and i dont have any kids so they couldnt have put anything in the tank.
