I'm almost cycled, at about 3 weeks. I was away for 2 days so when I did a quick of Nitrite it was down to about 0.5 (having been the max of my test kit 3 days prior.
I have yet to do full testing but I'm figuring in the next week or so I'll be ready for a CUC. I'm in the uglies pretty heavily now and turned on my skimmer. I have to adjust it as I filled the cup about half way with dirty liquid.
90 gallon tank. 40B sump, maybe 20 gallons total water in it? My plan is to add CUC and then 2 small clownfish.
I'm thinking of no crab 40 gallon CUC from reefcleaners.org. I don't want to overload the system. Suggestions welcome as I'm new to this.
