Not sure if bleaching or actaul color

A few weeks ago I realized that my LEDs were too dim and I cranked them up slowly over the next 2 weeks. I noticed a lot of my corals colors are coming back. However I have a frogspawn that when I bought it was very white but it also didn't look too happy and I got it on a discount because of this. A few days in my tank and it turned a dark maroon color. I read online though that having your lights too dim will cause the colors to turn a brownish color.



Anyways my frogspawn is starting to turn white again. I'm not 100% sure the real color is white though lol. Is there any signs I should look for when frogspawn is bleaching?
