new fish tank set up - info needed :)

hello i am new to both marine fish and this forum :'), i have just set up a 45 litre starter tank and would like info to help me through my first steps, i have been doing tropical fish more about 2 years and finaly made the move to marine.

the tank consists of:

45l tank

fluval 206 external filter (780 LP/H)

two standard 12 inch led light bars (one blue/one white)

jad dg-1516 protein skimmer (1400LP/H)

4.5kg live sand

(5kg live rock following tomorrow)



the filter was previously used for tropical but i have jet washed all my equipment and replaced all the filter media, is there anything else i need to make this better? i am aware that the filtration is far too powerfull for the tank but i had it lieing around so thaught what the hell :')



any advice on my setup would be fantastic, also what fish could i have in here, although noting this is only a temporary tank, they will be moving into a 140 ltr in a few months.
