Green and Brown algae = Dwarf Angel

I have had my 40 gallon reef set up for about 3 months now. I have had a solid amount of green and brown algae growth for a while now and the water chemistry is perfect 0s across the board, pH is 8.1. 30 lbs of live rock, fluval ps1 skimmer and fluval 306 canister for extra filtration with chemi pure blue. I have 2 occelaris, 1 yellow tang and yes I know the yellow tang should not be in a tank this small, but he is tiny right now. When he gets bigger I will move him to a bigger home. I also have an orange spotted shrimp goby, a vallentini puffer and falco hawkish, all small. All of them healthy and happy. The tang is going through his ick cycle, but is eating a lot. But the question is, would this brown and green algae be able to sustain a dwarf angel. I don't have any hair algae yet, but it's close. I have already tried my luck on a flame angel because the opportunity was there to take him. No luck...

Does anyone think it's time to try another angel based on this algae growth and grazing food?
