first timer

Hi there Just signed up for the reef tank today! Anyway im 19, a college student and i live in buffalo New york. I have a 28 gal nano cube with 2 clowns a coral banded shrimp, a snowflake eel (soon to be evicted) a mandarin (also soon to be evicted, wont eat frozen and sick of buying pods) numerous lps and soft corals and various CUC members. Anyway my father and i have always had freshwater tanks, community tanks, gar pike, turtles etc. But one of my bosses gave me the saltwater bug. Once i saw his nano cube i needed one for myself so come tax return time i took the plunge. The only other tank I have up and running right now is a 55 fresh water with a fire eel, some angels and something else that im not sure of the name haha. My goal with this tank was to just make a small beautiful reef with small fish and some reef critters scouring about the rock. Unfortunatley apparently the tank is getting horrible hair algae, ( my dad has been calling me telling me) so this weekend i will be going home to do a complete renovation of the tank, taking live rock out putting only maybe 35 lbs back in. And im going to put it in a much more flow efficient manner instead of the rock wall held up by the aquarium back and sides. Anyway im rambling lol, just wanted to say hi to all of you and i look forward to being able to ask you all my many many questions:)
