Well I just finished mixing my first ever batch of myour own saltwater. Here how I did it and please tell me if I messed up. Got a 5 g bucket of ro/di water. Poured the salt in slowly 2 and half cups to equal 5 gallons. Then as I did that mixed it with a plastic spoon and I mixed fast for a good 5 mins. Then I placed a airstone in there kept floating so I laid a knife on the tubing so it would stay at the bottom and also placed a heater in there. Only concern is. There's still some salt at the bottom of the bucket. Not a lot. I mean can just barley feel the salt. And I stirred some more and still a little salt at the bottom. Will I be ok to now just let it sit for 24 hours even though there is a tiny bit of salt at the bottom of the bucket? And I also covered the bucket with a lid?
