This morning i woke up and noticed a bit of brown speckles on the glass of the aquarium. there is also some on the sand. patches here and there. it has been there for about 2 days now, but this afternoon after coming home from a trip i noticed a lot on the rocks, especially the rocks higher in elevation. there is a cured rock that has been getting green algae, and now there is some that seems to be lifting off the rock. i saw a youtube video and this guy had the same, only he was on dray 8 of his cycle while I'm on day 11, he a bit more...actually way more than i do. he mentioned it was all normal. he did not have a filter, or any water circulation. i have a filter and going to get a wave maker soon. i also have a heater and have it set up to 79 F, but with my lighting on, it gets to about 82F. i have a rock with a feather duster, and thats pretty much the only living thing i have, other than the aiptasia, oh and some water bug things that I've read on and learned they were good for the critters I'm adding in.
so, is having this brown algae a good thing during this process...?
