Zero NO3 Zero PO4 but brown algae

Hi everyone

I have a problem in my 125G tank. Two weeks ago I removed a TLF Biopellet reactor with less than a cup of BP. I did it because it some polyp started to close and I read everywhere that biopellet can cause some troubles. So in the same reactor I put PhosBan and started vodka dosage 0.5ml for three days and 1ml until today.

Right now my readings are zero PO4 with Hanna and Zero NO3 with Seachem. But I have to clean the glass everyday, the pumps have some bown hair algae, the overflow walls, etc.

I was thinking to stop dosing vodka because if there is zero PO4 and zero NO3 must be the carbon who is feeding the algae, what do you think?

The aquarium was started in July 2013 and the biopellets was installed in december. I feed with an Apex AFS two times a day 1mm pellets, nothing else. I use RODIUV Lab Water zero TDS from a laboratory I work, the filter is a Millipore Elix 100.

Thanks
