Would a shrimp gobby be happy....

I have a 45gal. tall reef tank, with a course rubble substrate, lots of LR w/caves and nooks and crannys. Sand sifting gobbys get a lot of their nutrition from the sand they sift and thus I know their off my list. But how about a shrimp gobby? I see where they and their companion hang out in their burrows and caves, but would they be able, and HAPPY with a course substrate? They show the shrimp always doing all the 'work' and the gobby keeps a watchful eye on the area, and they show the shrimp moving some nice size stuff for their size. There's a lot of them I'd love to concider, but won't if they wouldn't be happy. I find in the days of the 'internet' if you look around enough you'll eventualy come acrossed an answer that you like, even if it goes against the majority......I don't want that, my goal is to care for my fish, not just 'keep them'. If that makes any sense to you?

YELLOW PRAWN, ORANGE SPOTTED, ORANGE STRIP PRAWN, REDHEADED, ect........

Thanks for any suggestions, and I do believe that a 'no' is a viable answer, but would love to find a yes. Dave
