Waterchange Pump Suggestions?

Hiya friends!

I haven't seen much activity on this idea, so I'm thinking it's either improbable or...people just set up their tanks with much more forethought than I have :)

I have 6 tanks on the first floor of my house, various parameters. To accommodate the newer saltwater setups and to get around the crazy amounts of chloramine that the local water company has been dumping into the supply lines, I bought an RO/DI system and set it up where it can do its thing undisturbed in the basement. I fill 2 BRUTE trashcans, 35 gallon (saltwater mix) and 55 gallon for freshwater.

Setting up an auto-topoff from this system would be pretty straightforward, lots of info on that around. What I'd like to do instead is set up a water-changing system (as bringing up buckets from my basement is decidedly not fun.) Plumbing, electric, and drilling is no problem. Finding the right pump is!

So this ideal imaginary pump that I've got in my brain is submersible, won't corrode (in saltwater), has oil-free casing/bearings (fishy safe), has enough head to push up about 20 feet and still have enough pressure that doing a waterchange on a 75 gallon tank won't take 4 hours. I have the knowledge and experience to rig up my own auto-shutoff and install a flow valve for safety and pump life. As always, cheaper is better (Blew most of my savings on that nice RO/DI).

For the most part I've only been able to come up with pond waterfall pumps, as they tend to be fishy safe and can have some decent vertical lift. What they don't have is good ratings for intermittent use or a standard garden-hose expeller connection (I know I can use fittings to get it to work, but typically starting from a smaller diameter expeller means better lift and translates to less expensive.)

Here's what I've come up with so far:

Any ideas or suggestions for me? I'd really appreciate it...and would be really really happy to post pictures of setting this thing up for the community as I work on it.

Thanks!
