tap water and conditioners

i was at my lfs and noticed a tds meter,thats cheap i thought i i got it, so when i got home i thought i would do some tests wow what a eye opener





straight tap water reading-301 ppm

aquacare conditioner -441 ppm

api conditioner -907ppm





now i do admit i have used tap water plus conditioner to do top ups not any more these reading are here in uk they might be different in the us
