I will be going on vacation next week for 8 days. I ahve someone coming to feed my fish while i am gone, and add water to the tank and replace the filter sock. Now my sump is unbaffeled and i dont have an ATO so the water does fluctuate where my protein skimmer is.
My plan is just unplugging my protein skimmer while i am gone because I dont feel like my friend will dial in the skimmer each time he adds water. My question is do you guys think its ok to just let it sit in my tank and not run, or should i pull it out of my tank before i leave just so its not sitting in water. . I have the
