I have a chance to buy a new JBJ 1/10 (500.00) or a Tradewunds 1/5 (580.00)
Right now I have to turn off all wavwmakers,skimmer and reactors during the day and run a fan on the sump (24/7) just to stay under 84deg. Thats about as hot as the tank will get in the summer. I would be happy to have the chiller stay at 79deg.
Which unit will be best? The tank is in the livingroom/kitchen where we spend alot of time so quiet and cool running (if thats even possible) is top priority.
The house has no ac. and humidity in the 80s all day and night. Also have the option to drill 2 holes in the wall and put the chiller on the lanai. Is that even worth debating? Any input would be great.
