So I got an email from AI today offering the Hydra 52 upgrade to my existing Hydra light. I was curious so I followed the link and looked at the upgrade package. Now my question is; Is Aqua Illumination out of their minds??? I paid $400 for my Hydra and the "Upgrade" top take my existing light to a Hydra 52 is $300. For a total trice of $700. Why would anyone do this when a new Hydra 52 is $600? Why would AI even think of charging a penalty of $100 extra to existing customers for sending fewer parts than buying a new 52 and a DIY install? Seems they are really screwing their existing customers with this "deal".
