My 75g frag tank is getting over run with dinoflagellets exactly like this pic i found on the net:
I've been reading that the best way to rid my tank is to:
1) reduce feeding as much as possible
2) manually syphon out as much as possible
3) reduce lights to 4 hours a day
4) raise my pH to 8.4 to 8.5'ish
Since this is my frag tank, I can easily remove the two fish I have, the yellow tank and the wrasse.
Would it be a good idea to pull both fish an QT them in a 30g tall for a few weeks while I starve the tank of any food?
I up to anyone's advice that has defeated dinos.
Thanks!
