Clam Hitchhiker?

Hello everyone,



I've had my tank for almost a year now. I've seen on one of my rocks what I thought was a dead clam. Today I noticed the dead clam was open and I when I went to poke it, it closed.



My question:

Is this a clam? Is there anything I should know or do about it?
