In the bottom and on the surface of my saltwater reservoir I am finding reddish brown stuff/foam. either light is seeping in and causing algae to grow or the pump is failing and starting to rust.
I probably just need to pull the pump out and take it apart (not sure I can with this particular one, its a fountain pump for a pond) to see if it is rust.:freak:
