newbie seeks advice

this weekend i am getting an established 29 gal complete setup including live sand, live rock and a cpl small corals and small fish , 50/50 lights, the guy im getting the tank from will help resetting it up, but any advice about this this topic would be greatly appreciated, never cared for a saltwater tank before i am very new, thanks in advance
