I bought a beautiful crocea clam today who is healthy and light reactive but when I got him home I realized he has an astrea snail shell lodged inside his shell. He seems ok but he cant close his shell all the way. Its so close I feel like I could just pull it right out with a pair of tweezers but I don't want to damage him. Im kinda at a loss here should I try and gget it out or leave it be? The clam is healthy but clearly not happy about the shell inside it. It extends it mantle but also opens and closes attempting to get it out. This pic was taken at night with the flash.
