I just had a quick question, is 8ppm Ammonia too high (using API test kit) for a Fishless cycling tank? I used pure liquid Ammonia and have 40lbs dry dock with 20lbs live sand. I'm not sure if I dosed too much Ammonia or if the tank will handle it as the bacteria blooms? The tank is a 20 gallon long and I am going the natural route of no HOB filters or skimmers. I have two Koralia 240 powerheads. Will be doing weekly water changes, possibly twice a week, depending on how the water quality tests once stocking begins. Thanks in advance!
P.S. it's only day 3 of cycling.
