setting up a gulf coast shrimp bait tank?

My dad lives on a saltwater canal and wants to keep live bait at his house.

I have an extra 20g tank and was thinking of setting it up for him to keep shrimp.

I have a few extra pieces of liverock to put in the tank.

I was thinking of buying either a cheap hob filter, or just a big bubbler with a wide airstone along the back. Im not sure how much/if any filtration these guys would need?

And i was thinking a sand bed for them to hide in.
And a plexi lid with holes drilled in it for oxygen exchange.

Id mix rodi saltwater to set the tank up too.

My concerns are mainly what i need for filtration and water temp as the tank will he in a shadded patio in florida.
Any ideas, or opinions on this?
