25f this morning with sunshine later. Snow flurries in the mountains last night. Chilly through the weekend then warming back up for a balmy Christmas.
Blueberry muffins and Folger's coffee to kick start the day. I had a chance to sleep in but woke at the usual time without an alarm. :(
Sending good thoughts toward Doug in hopes for a good resolution to life's complications.
Had a real good time last night at an annual Christmas dinner with work colleagues. Several retired friends attended and a good time was had by all. We were entertained by an old friend and former neighbor, a columnist for the Knoxville News-Sentinel, with a hilarious monologue.
"Solitaire". Standing alone in a frost-covered field on a foggy morning in Cades Cove.
