I have had an explosion of these critters in my tank. They are rather small, the largest being about 1/8 of an inch or so. They are carpeting my rock and substrate, and seem to be killing off my coraline (presumably blocking too much light?).
All water specs are in normal parameters, although I did get lazy on water changes for a while.
At first my clownfish would snack on them when they were on the glass, but they have lost interest. They seem relatively harmless, other than being unsightly and slowly wreaking havoc on my coraline. They avoid the corals, other than occassionally creeping up the underside of the leather coral in the photo.
