Just wanted to share.
I needed to catch a blue tang thay was terrorizing my other fish in my coral tank, tried netting it 100 times, tried louring it with food, couldn't catch this quick little fish!
Tried googling and it seems like a common occurance, so i thought id share what worked for me.
I had bought a piece of acrylic from lowes to make lids for my other tanks sump and had a piece left over.
Length of the acrylic was as tall as my tank, and about 12" wide.
Washed it just to be safe and put it into my tank standing upright.
The fish didnt see it at all, so i waited til it came to the front of the tank and trapped into a corner of the tank with the acrylic, then snuck my net over and grabbed it! All within a minute of putting the acylic in.
Next time you need to catch a fish, buy a thin piece of $10 acrylic! Then use it for another project when youre done.
