The culture vat, back online.

I like experimenting. And last week i came across a thread i had heard about but had never seen until recent. Well, in tribute to all that TRT has to offer i thought i would continue a experiment that was started by Alfalfa, a member here at TRT, but then shut down prematurely. Although im doing it with a 10g tank, not a vat, and as of right now, no skimmer but i may put my diy skimmer back into action.

Here is a pic.! Ignore the glass bowl, without it the eggcrate just flies around. Ill remove it when i get enough frag plugs to weigh it down well.




I did just frag the montipora digitata pictured, so he is pretty mad.

Tank specs:

10g
Heater, powerhead with attached surface skimmer
Lights are diy with 2 warm white (5w ea) , 2 blue and 1 royal blue (3w ea) led's, unknown intensity as the power supply are miscellaneous phone chargers.

Ill post water params after i take some tests.
