Hey TRT, been a day or two since I've been on here. Actually more like two months. But any who, I've had a little bit of problem with my main tank. Something is eating a couple of my corals. I see these small whiteish looking snails sometimes and I see these very odd shaped sea stars. White with a little bit of gray on them. Bad? Idk. Anyways, I'm wanting to set up a frag tank from a spare 10 gallon tank I have. I have an extra light, power head, heater, etc. I'm wondering if I take about 5 to 10 pounds of my rock from my main tank, reef dip it, take 5 gallons of my main tank water and put in there, if I could add corals straight over. I don't want to wait too long as I'm afraid of losing my two pieces of coral. The other 6 corals are fine. Nothing is even near the corals so that's not an issue. The closest ones together are like 8" away and that's one on the sand and another on a mountain (yes I said mountain lol). You all may be scratching your heads saying "did he really say he wants to reef dip his rocks?" Yes, yes I did. I'm just worried about bringing a unwanted hitch hiker to the new FT. Any help, suggestions, snide remarks are welcome! In advance, thanks TRT members:wavey::wavey:
