Running two of the exact same skimmers. Does that make a difference?

Hi :)

TL;DR : Two skimmers. Same make/model/capacity. Opposite sides of the tank.

I am running a tunze comline 9004 skimmer on my 4 foot tank which is about 250L (60 gallons?). Due to my tendency of having a large bioload, I have ordered a second one which I plan to place on the opposite side of the tank.

This skimmer claims to have a capacity of about 250L (or 150L for sps tanks.) and I did have a large skimmer which was rated at about 400L pulling some really black looking thick skimmate. Wet or dry. But due to the fact I don't have a sump, and a gigantic HOB skimmer looked horrible and took up so much space, I found that having the skimmer I currently have... made everything look so much better.

I know that having two skimmers can result in one (usually the more efficient or with a skinnier neck) ending up pulling the load making the other completely useless, but what about two of the exact same on opposite sides of the tank.

Wouldn't that make it like one big skimmer, just more.... Spread out? Considering they can't exactly outdo eachother being that they are literally doing the same amount of work just on opposite ends. Right?

Cheers guys :)
