I just ordered a new RO membrane from spectrapure *one of the 99% select ones, anyway it arrived today and lo and behold i have no idea where to set my restriction at. I actually have a manual restricter that came with my unit.
which is why I didn't buy one of the ones that are supposed to go with the spectrapure one. anyway the one I have is more or less a housing with a set screw that you can open or close the line to get the desired ratio/ pressure.
on my previous membrane it said to run it a 1:3 RO to brine ratio. is that true for all membranes? I looked and looked and couldn't find anything on the spectra website that answered my question. does anyone have any ideas?
