I am in the process as I type of acclimating a cleaner shrimp
So far for 25 minutes I have had him in his open store bag in my acclimation tank with my tank water dripping into the acclimation tank, basically surrounding his bag.
Next I plan to drip some water into his bag and remove the water that was surrounding his bag in the little tank.
I just checked his bag with a refractometer, it is at 1.0230. Mine is at 1.025 today. Is this a problem, or will acclimation help smoothe the transition? I read horror stories of killing these shrimp and I would rather not be one of them. I also plan to check some parameters from his bag also. Thoughts would be helpful quick. Thanks.
