Help with sun coral

So I bought a pretty big colony of sun coral the other day, and they haven't came out. So what I did was I got a big Tupperware bin and filled it with the tank water and put the colony in there. I then put it in a dark room with a bunch of brine shrimp in there. I went to go check up on it after an hour of it being there and I'm already starting to see success, most of the polyps are coming out. Now for the help I am asking. When should I put the Suns back into the tank? Should I keep him in the Tupperware over night? Or just put him back in now? Thanks in advance!
